How Jarvestment Handles Personal and Portfolio Information.

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Jarvestment collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Jarvestment website, mobile app, account features, portfolio tools, AI features, billing flows, and support channels.

Information we collect

• Account information such as display name, email address, authentication identifiers, sign-in provider identifiers, and account settings.
• Portfolio information you choose to enter, including portfolio names, holdings, operations, snapshots, market values, allocation details, and related analytics.
• AI assistant content, including prompts, conversation history, selected portfolio names, holdings, operations, snapshots, market values, allocation details, analytics, generated responses, and actions you choose to apply.
• Billing and entitlement information when paid features, credits, subscriptions, or one-time credit packs are used, including store product identifiers and purchase records.
• Support and privacy request information, including messages you send, contact details, request type, and related account context.
• Technical information such as device, app, log, diagnostic, security event, product interaction, and service reliability data.

How we use information

• Provide portfolio tracking, analytics, snapshots, AI-assisted features, account management, and support.
• Authenticate users, protect accounts, troubleshoot issues, and improve service reliability.
• Process App Store or other supported store purchases, manage credits or entitlements, restore access, and prevent abuse.
• Communicate about account, product, security, support, and legal updates.
• Comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and security obligations.

How information is shared

• With service providers that help operate hosting, databases, analytics, payments, in-app purchases, support, communication, market data, and AI infrastructure.
• With authentication providers when you choose a third-party sign-in method such as Google or Apple.
• With Apple, Google, or other app stores as needed to process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and subscription management.
• With OpenAI, LLC when you choose to use AI features. Jarvestment sends the prompts, selected portfolio names, holdings, operations, snapshots, market values, allocation details, analytics, conversation history, and generated output needed to provide those features. OpenAI is required to protect this data under service-provider terms that provide the same or equal protection.
• When you direct us to use or disclose information as part of a product workflow.
• When required to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights, prevent abuse, or respond to valid legal requests.
• In connection with a business transaction such as merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Your choices

• You may update account information in the app where supported.
• You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting Jarvestment at the privacy address.
• You may delete your account through the in-app Profile screen or request help through the account deletion page.
• You may manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple account; deleting a Jarvestment account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
• You may opt out of non-essential marketing messages by using unsubscribe controls where provided.

Tracking and sale

• Jarvestment does not sell personal information.
• Jarvestment does not use user-entered portfolio holdings, AI prompts, or account data to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.
• If Jarvestment adds advertising, tracking, or materially different analytics in the future, this policy and applicable consent flows will be updated.

Security and retention

Jarvestment uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain legitimate business records.

When you delete your account in the app or submit a verified deletion request, Jarvestment deletes account data and associated portfolio, snapshot, and AI records from active systems except where limited retention is required or permitted for legal, security, billing, dispute, fraud prevention, or legitimate business record purposes.

Children

Jarvestment is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact Jarvestment so the issue can be reviewed.

Changes

Jarvestment may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page or by providing additional notice where appropriate.
